Our Program

Welcome to Life Keys Homeschool Clubs — a thriving social space where children build friendships, confidence, and life skills through shared experiances and activities.

A Nature-Based Club for Homeschooling Families

Life Keys is a membership-based outdoor social club offering themed 10-week recreational programs for homeschooling families.

We currently offer four separate club programs each week, running Monday through Thursday during school terms. Each day is centred around its own distinct recreational focus, allowing families to choose the program experiences that best suit their child’s interests.

Program themes may include areas such as creative arts, bushcraft, survival skills, gardening projects, building activities, entrepreneurship projects, or other interest-based group experiences designed to bring children together through shared participation and social connection.

Rather than spending the entire day focused solely on one activity, sessions flow through a range of complementary experiences that support the overall program theme and group dynamic.

Depending on the program focus, this may include outdoor games, storytelling circles, nature time and exploration, collaborative challenges, project discussions, creative free play, community involvement, and practical hands-on experiences connected to the term’s recreational focus.

Our intention is to create a socially rich and welcoming environment where children can build friendships, share experiences, participate in group activities, and enjoy meaningful time together in nature.

Life Keys is centred around community, connection, participation, and shared experience — creating an environment that feels active, engaging, and socially rewarding for both children and families.

Parents and carers are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate alongside their children as part of the shared community experience. Life Keys is designed as a collaborative recreational social club environment where families are also welcome to engage in activities, connect with others, and participate in the rhythm of the program together.

Power of Story Telling

Throughout each term program, groups explore stories connected to the program’s recreational theme, including the lives of remarkable people from history such as adventurers, inventors, artists, explorers, leaders, and other inspiring figures connected to the shared interests of the group.

Through these stories, children are naturally introduced to powerful personal qualities such as courage, perseverance, initiative, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, kindness, and resilience — planting seeds that may positively shape the way they see themselves and the world around them.

These storytelling sessions help spark curiosity, imagination, discussion, creativity, and shared participation within the overall flow of the program experience.

Confidence Through Participation

Through shared activities, group experiences, and participation in the life of the club, children naturally have opportunities to contribute, try new things, collaborate with others, and build confidence through active involvement in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Physical Activity

Physical activity is naturally woven throughout the Life Keys experience, with outdoor games, movement, exploration, climbing, running, and shared physical challenges helping keep children active, engaged, and connected throughout the day to support participation in the overall program experience.

Connection With Nature

Connection with nature sits at the heart of the Life Keys experience, with our programs unfolding within beautiful outdoor and nature-rich environments that encourage exploration, movement, grounding, shared adventure, and a deeper connection with the natural world throughout the day.

Community and Shared Experiance

At its heart, Life Keys is a social environment where children spend meaningful time together through shared participation, outdoor experiences, group activities, and recreational challenges within a connected community setting.

Many of the qualities families value — such as resilience, patience, initiative, independence, and responsibility — naturally emerge through participation in shared experiences, collaborative projects, outdoor recreation, and social interaction.

What truly sets Life Keys apart is our connection to the wider local community. Through relationships with food forest caretakers, beekeeping groups, community gardens, parkland volunteers, parents, local artists, and other community members, children have opportunities to take part in experiences that feel practical, meaningful, and grounded in the environment around them.

Life Keys is a place for children to belong, explore, participate, and enjoy being part of a connected and active community.

Our Leaders

Life Keys is guided by experienced leaders who bring a calm, grounded, and capable presence to the group environment. Our main leader brings over 20 years of experience working with children in outdoor and group-based settings, including nature-based and adventure-focused environments.

With a strong understanding of group dynamics and outdoor recreation, our leaders help create an environment where children can feel comfortable participating, connecting with others, and engaging in the shared experiences of the group in their own way.

Clear boundaries, humour, respect, and strong role modelling help create a positive and welcoming group atmosphere.
