Our Program
Welcome to Life Keys Homeschool Clubs — a thriving social space where children build friendships, confidence, and life skills through shared adventure
We’re a Nature Based Social Club Designed for Homeschooling Families
At Life Keys, we are a membership-based nature and social club for kids. Our offering is built around community, connection, friendship, and the rich social development that naturally unfolds through play, adventure, and shared experience.
We are not an education service and do not cover any curriculum, nor are we a childcare service. Our social clubs offer something children often need even more: a play-based, nature and activity rich environment where they can grow socially, emotionally, and personally at their own pace.
Each day is a carefully balanced mix of unstructured play, hands-on creative projects, outdoor adventure, and dynamic group games. Children climb trees, build cubbies, splash in the creek, garden, kayak, zoom down our zipline, race billy carts, explore bush trails, create market stalls, and immerse themselves in the joy of imaginative and physical play. They craft with clay, wood, twine, paint, and natural materials — expressing creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
Life Keys is guided by our main leader, who brings over 20 years of experience professionally guiding children in forest school programs, and various leadership roles. With a deep understanding of children’s social and emotional development, our leader creates an environment where every child feels supported, seen, and empowered to grow.
But beneath the fun lies the heart of what we do.
Life Keys is intentionally designed as a real-world social development environment. Here, children practise and strengthen essential relationship and community skills: communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, group dynamics, emotional awareness, listening, leadership, and problem-solving. Through play and shared adventure, friendships form deeply, confidence grows steadily, and children learn how to navigate social situations with increasing maturity and ease.
Our offering also supports the development of core life skills — resilience, patience, initiative, self-discipline, courage, responsibility, adaptability, and self-reliance. These qualities aren’t taught in a lesson… they emerge naturally through experience: returning after a hard moment, trying again, working together, managing challenges, caring for others, and discovering their own inner strength.
Life Keys is a place for children to belong, to grow, to explore, and to flourish — socially, emotionally, playfully, and wholeheartedly.
Story Telling for Personal Development
One of the most special parts of each session is our group storytelling circle. Together, we explore the lives of incredible people from history—adventurers, inventors, artists, and leaders—whose real-life journeys reveal the timeless personal traits that lead to a rich and meaningful life. These “Life Keys” spark powerful conversations and help children reflect on who they are and who they’re becoming. Picture your child stepping into adulthood already armed with an understanding of the qualities that truly shape successful, fulfilling lives!

Arts & Crafts
inspired by nature and imagination—think bush treasures turned into art, hand-built creations, and open-ended projects that let kids explore freely.

Physical Activity
Physical activity at Life Keys includes climbing, running, building, and exploring in nature, along with group games and sports that build teamwork, coordination, and confidence.

Supported Social Learning
In school, they are peer lead. At Life Keys the children are lead in example by exemplary role models who help them develop self awareness, emotional intellegence and connection.
What Truly Sets Us Apart
Is our connection to the local community. We partner with the food forest caretakers, beekeeping association, community garden, parkland volunteers, and local artists to offer projects that are meaningful, practical, and deeply rooted in our environment. Children experience firsthand what it means to contribute to something bigger than themselves.
This is social learning at its most alive—outdoors, story-rich, community-connected, and full of heart.
Your child will come home tired, happy, and fulfilled—not just with dirty feet and wild stories, but with stronger friendships, greater self-confidence, and a deeper connection to the world around them.
Our Leaders
Each club is led by skilled, caring mentors offering a safe and encouraging space for children to be themselves. Our mixed-age groups foster leadership, empathy, and cooperation as kids learn from and support one another like a true little tribe.
